Frequently Asked Questions
How much do you charge?
You can find our pricing on our Services page.
How many dogs are walked at any one time?
Walkie Mountains firmly believe dogs have more fun on walk when walked with other dogs where they can play and interact with one another. Our groups are carefully chosen with the breed, age and personalities of each dog in mind. If you have any concerns about group walks this can be discussed at a meet and greet before walks.
Will I meet my dog walker?
Yes! We offer a free meet and greet prior to any services. This allows for us to understand your dog better before walking even commences as well as giving you a chance to get to know Walkie Mountains.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are insured with Protectivity Insurance. We are also Disclosure Scotland checked.
Do I need to be home when you collect and drop off my dog?
No, most clients are comfortable sharing a set of keys with Walkie Mountains to allow us to collect and drop off your dog even if you aren’t home.
Where do you walk?
Most walks take place in the various braes and walks around Neilston, all of which are safe and away from traffic. If you feel your dog would be better suited to a walk elsewhere, then we will try to accommodate this.
Can my dog stay with you?
Unfortunately not, we do not have the facilities to board customer’s dogs, however, we can offer to stay in customer’s home’s. See our services page for more info.
